Ashley was two months premature and weighed in at 2 lbs, 8 inches. For a whole month, she was admitted to the ICU. Parents were informed that her heart was going to need surgery for Christmas Day. The prayers of her parents were answered on Christmas Day when they went to the doctor and found out that Ashley's artery was shut. Ashley wasn't in need of any surgical procedures. She weighed 4 1/2 pounds. Ashley was discharged after two hospitalizations. Since then, she's been healthy! She has English, German and Irish ancestry. Her mother is Irish. She made her acting debut in a 2002 Salon Surprise Barbie Doll commercial. Ashley's career was furthered after the Ford Modeling Agency approached her aged 8. Ashley has worked steadily at The Ford Modeling Agency for many years. When she was 10years old, Ashley decided to become an actor. Ashley began her career with 35 commercials, and then moved to roles in the theatre. Ashley became a full-time acting. Ashley's attention shifted to acting. There was not much time for dancing and modeling. Ashley's last role on ABC Family Pretty Little Liars was as "Hanna Marin". Ashley had a short cameo appearance in the music video "True Love" performed by Romeo Miller, aka Lil Romeo and Solange. Britney Spears also appeared in the Vogue Magazine photoshoot. She's part of NLT "That Girl", the music video.
